Hey guys,

I have a new av with the 6.0L and just added a k@n intake to it so far (have only had it 2 wks yesterday). Anyways, I have an appointment to get it tuned on the 14th by NelsonPerformance. I wanted to find a ported and polished throttle body before than if I could. Does anyone know what kind I would need or have any recommendations? I'm new to advanced performance (I know this isnt that advanced), but I've never put one on before.

 

You could just polish the one you already have. That seems to be what every one around here does. I don't know of any company that sells them, but I think there are some individuals around that you can pay to do it.
I think it is kind of a waste of time and money though, on an otherwise stock machine. I don't think you will see much of a benefit other than maybe a slight increase in trottle response.

 

I agree on a stock truck, but it won't be stock for long. Ported heads, cam kit, exhaust, headers, stall, all coming soon.

 

bbk sells a P&P tb right? so does the company that makes the "typhoon" intake, but all of them are cable actuated. no aftermarket ETC tb's I've seen
