Default Overheating problem!!!

I have the Flex-a-lite 282 and they are not working. I thought a wire came lose at first, but I checked everything. This morning they were working fine. I let the truck sit there until the fans did not work anymore. Could heatsink be a problem? The hotter it gets the less the fans want to operate. Thanks for any advice.

I was going to say it sounds like a power problem, but that is a good link above Lance.
