4200 stall...matched with 3:73s not enough gear imho.

An thunder racing isnt the only place that does spec'd cams. Id rather run a stock cam than that pos cam you think is the bomb. yet i do know thats a turd of a cam to run in a bone stock 5.3 bc someone that lives close to me hates that cam in his 5.3

Its just my opinion...but please oh please install the cam an go to the to prove how awsome that cam is.

Im running a 4200 stall, and i put about 2000 miles on the truck a year, maybe not even that many. Just curious on the pushrods.

Ive seen a few guys running this cam that like this cam, those arnt 5.3 heads on there motors either, I wonder if i should step down from the Big Mothr thumpr to the Muthr Thumpr, that way duration goes from 235/249 to a 227/241. More within the realm and powerband for the 5.3..

Thats still a big *** cam for a 5.3 without big heads, big intake, steep gears, an a ton of rpm.

If you arent driving the truck much then get a spec'd cam and be happy vs doing a guessing game...

That 150 will help but not enough
