ordrered my westers pcm today.believe that this will take care of all my performance needs. will let you know how it turns out.

 

What did I miss??????

 

started shifting in and out of od.would shift very hard one time and soft the next. idle started surging bad.tried to reset factory tune with no luck.low power.still havent been able to get the factory tune in. checked my settings tonight and the custom tune seems to be partially back but the idle is still a little rough and is low.tired of fighting with it.

 

Did you get a refund on the predator

 

trying to but cant seem to get an answer back.

 

Let me know how it goes. I am half tempted to try the Westers. To much talk about it not to.

 

Sorry to hear you have had so many problems with the Predator. It looked for a while that all was well? I hope the westers works out for you. What about it is differnt or better than other tuners? Know anyone who has one?
I just had to program back to stock just to affoprd gas!!

the thing with westers is that it seems pretty damn expensive for an individually tuned pcm... theres bryan herter at pcmforless.com who did my impala... those are the kind of prices i'd be looking for, and it was an awesome job. he even does OBD2 to OBD1 conversions...

 

finally got an answer back.he said he wasnt sure but he sayed i have had the predator for more than 15 days.i told him that i was waiting for my custom tune for 2 of those weeks.i finally got my factory tune back in after the fifth try.
