Ordered ET Streets
Well, I won an auction on EBAY for my ET Streets Friday. 27x10.5x16's brand new. Picked up my stock wheels from Kevin (V8) Saturday, Thanks man. And sold my rear bumper to Lance and my spare tire carrier too, got his old Sir Mike's roll pan. Thanks, Lance.
I can't believe the difference in weight not having the stock trailer hitch, rear bumper, and spare tire sittin back there makes. It feels a hell of a lot quicker already. Although traction has gotten worse. I guess as soon as the et streets get here I'll head to the track to see if I can get my 13 second run.
Oh yeah, the roll pan I got from Lance has a small crease on either side of the licence plate box, anybody know how difficult it is to repair this, would it just be worth the money to get a new roll pan rather than a body shop try to straighten this one?

not sure about the roll pan though, maybe take it to a body shop and get a quote before you buy another one

Tib,
Got an awesome deal on them off ebay. Brand new for 249.00, I used the buy it now option cause it was free shipping if I did. I didn't figure I could find a better deal than that. Hopefully I will see some better 60's.
Yeah, I don't know. I'm gonna check with a body shop about the roll pan, but I actually kinda like the looks of the custom classic stamped roll pan too. So who knows?

i can hit 2.0 without slicks , but it was rare to do so, now with the slicks im always under a 2.0, with a lowest of a 1.77, but usually in the 1.8x's. slicks are awesome.

My best so far has only been a 1.74 on a 1000rpm launch. I was getting a little wheel hop the last time out when I was trying to launch at a higher rpm, so that justified the caltrac purchase. They'll be on soon and I can report the new 60ft.
