can anyone give me the part number for the yellow top deep cycle for our truck?... thanks.

couldn't find a PN. i know they are made by interstate, i think. as long as you get the deep cycle (yellow top) with the side post mounts you should be all set.

cool, thats why i was wondering... i looked all over, and i wasnt sure if i should grab the top or side.... i cant remember what my battery looks like.... i havent seen my truck in 4 months...

well i went ahead and ordered from performancetrucks.com..... well, if this stuff ever goes through... its been sitting at the address page for the last minute or so....

its got the GM side posts.. so i guess thats all i need.

ya, that link i gave ya was for a 99-02 chevy silverado so it will work. i did find the battery # too on another website:

D 750 U

or it is sometimes listed as

D34/78

I'm picking up a red top tomorrow. The guy said they don't recomend the yellow top for trucks. Any info on this?

just about everyone i know uses the yellow for their trucks... even on the optima website they say you can use yellow.....
