FYI, The heads are universal left to right. You just need to put the plug and the temp sensor on the correct side after the fact...

Yeah but gev4 was inteoduced in 05 in trailblazer or something iirc...

I know and i had bare heads neither had plugs, i wanted to put them on way factory did but goofed it, not worried about it.....what i get for working on the back side of the engine at some ridiculous hour of the morning after working way too many hours

I think that heart attack caused some drain bamage...


Trailblazer had an inline 6 cylinder 4.2L in 2005.

Never had a heart attack... Lh6 in trailblazer, envoy, a saab and one other model starting in 05.... Wiki'd it nontheless it was gen 4..... Op needs find an lm7 or l33 and be done with it...

OK, A blockage that required a triple bypass. My appoligies

I thought it was 06 when the introduces the SS model that they introduced The V8, But those vehicles are worthless to me so I could care less...

But either way , Yes it was a gen 4 engine.

Hey when i do it, i do it good, and make sure its gonna be fixed or dye tryin

I would own a trailblazer..... SS.....Long enough to drive the **** out of it for about a week and then trade it in or for that matter pull the engine/trans and scrap the rest, ls2 would wake this yukon up a bit maybe??

Just want to say THANKS Wolftrk99 and 1FasBrick! That's exactly the info I was looking for! Very much appreciated. I feel like that's good info to know, and I like to pictures too! Now I just need to figure out which route I want to go, find myself an engine and start this project...
