Just ordered a Corsa Sport Side exit system for my CCSB truck. Now, I'm wanting LTs but I know without cats...it will be loud and sound like crap. I'm thinking for right now to get the ORY and have cats installed when I'm off a day of work...which will be in about 3 weeks so not long. So, I've searched for clips with cats but could find nothing but no cats. So, I'm looking for 5.3L engine clips with LTs, cats, and Corsa Sport. Not looking for anything loud.....just no drone at cruise, more power, and rumble. Later on if needed, I could always swap it for a Touring. However, I do know that the longer the pipes...the more the sound deadens itself so to speak. So, with the CCSB, I see it being a little quieter than a RCSB system.

now i see why you wanted the update on my exhaust!!! ill get you a clip up tomorrow. just has one cat though, right where the y comes together.

 

by the way one contributing factor to why i didnt like it without the cats is because of my stall....it kept the rpms at a really obnoxious tone durrng normal acceleration....wide open it sounded bad ***!

 

Well, I had a Corsa on a 383 stroker with a stall with LTs and ORY. However, that was on my 1990 truck. I haven't heard one like that one a 99-07 truck because of the different timing. I've heard three Corsa systems with shorty headers, cats, and Corsa Sport and all of those sounded great!! Very deep with no rasp at all. So, just seeing if the LTs have anything difference in sound with cats.
