Ok this is getting rediculas for me now.. i have some money saved up and i am changing ideas on what to do(Turbo) (Supercharge)(swap)more then i change my drawers. i found a good deal on a 6.0. Question is what is the difference in the 6.0's out of the express vans, it is the lq4 correct,the comp ratio is 9.4:1 where is the other differences in this motor at. is it the cam the tune..... Any info would be a big help..

Yes, that would be the LQ4. Anything except the Escalade AWD, the SS, and the VHO, and the 05 newer 6l's is the LQ4. The connection rods, and pistons are the only differences. Cam and tune would be the same, and should be trashed anyway, they are way too tame

From my intake manifold up is all my stock 5.3 stuff, except for a cheap ebay open element filter.

Use the manifold, youll be fine. Its the same as whats on your truck now.
