Oil & Trans temp gauges
#1
I would like to install oil and trans temp gauges in my '02 truck. I found where the oil sender goes; but what about the trans sender??? Someone on the truck forum said something about a plug in the 4L60e and that's where you would put the sender--Is that correct? I would also like to install an aftermarket speedo in the a-pillar. How do I tap in to the factory speedometer wire? Basically so that once my truck speedo hits 100mph the aftermarket digital speedo will keep going--is this possible? I found some gauges in jegs that I would like to use but I don't think autometer makes a 2 1/16" speedo. So, I was thinking I would install the digital trans temp, oil temp and speedo gauges made by Cyberdyne. I would appreciate any help or input on these gauges and how they need to be installed (i.e. senders, adapter fittings, electronic calibrations, etc.). Thanks!!!

Where did you install your oil temp sender? I just got the same 2 gauges and installed my trans temp sender in the plug that they mentioned above and it is working great so far, I just need to install the oil temp now.
