Question Oil sending unit - different plug 01 --> 07?

Ok guys, getting to the last few connections before I pull the 4.8 and I think that the oil sending harness plug on my 07 6.0 is different from my 2001 4.8. Take a look at the two pictures. Do you think I can just swap the oil sending from the 4.8 into the 6.0? Guess I could spice the new connector into my harnes in place of the 4.8 one. Just a little leary of doing that. I was told the '01 sensor is a variable resistance sensor while the '07 is a variable voltage. Anything I need to tell Allen about on that for the tune?

2001 4.8

2007 6.0

Whatcha think?
