Default Oil Pump Swap????

Ok guys, I am BRAND new to this. I have a 2001 Silverado with a 4.8. Its got 86k on the clock. This weekend I am doin a cam and heads swap. Below are all the parts going in between now and Tuesday. I have talked to a few people and they have suggested upgrading oil pumps. My friend has a barely used LS6 ported SLP oil pump for $100 that I was going to buy. My question is, is it really necessary?? I may do a 6.0l swap within the next year or two, I'm not too sure though. I will definetly be adding a 50-100 dry shot within the next 2-3 months. Please look over the parts list below and let me know.
Thanks!!

Also, can anyone give me a ball park on rwhp? I'm guessing 315-330 na.

Predator Cams- 224/231 578/588 LC-114
LS1 Heads- ported and polished, 241 castings with double gold springs, with titanium retainers and locks
LS6 lifters
LS2 Timing Chain (I have it, but not sure if it's worth the time installing)
Flowtech Shorties (I know LTs are better, but I'm out of money, maybe soon)
No Cats
Dynotune
Eaton Posi w/ 3.42s

I would put the ls2 chain on before the oil pump myself. You have to pull the pump off to install the chain, so if you want to do the pump at that time just re-install the new one. You will have to drop the oil pail a little in the front to get the pickup tube unbolted from the pump.
I would guess the same power you did. That is big cam, what converter do you plan to run?

No converter for now unfortunately...Hopefully by August a built 4l80e with a stall. I see that some people are recommending a 2800, but someone said 3600, Input? . The cam's big but I think it should be fine. Does anyone think this cam is too big? Also, if I do the chain then I will def. do the oil pump, but should the chain be replaced? Or is it probably fine?

I have heard about chains breaking but many have 100K+ miles with a cam on a stock chain. I wonder if it would idle at a low enough speed to not load up against the converter?

I would put a double roller on before I put a ls6 on! I just took mine of my 4.8 and Im going to reuse it on my 6.0. That damn thing didnt have a bit i excess stretch in from when i first installed it 25k miles ago.
