Default oil pump question/ pressure up

I read in a book that you can add a spacer on the pressure spring. If this is true how big of a spacer, and which side of the spring. If there is another way to up the pressure let me know.

Upping pressure without changing the volume isn't all that great to do IIRC

The GENIII oil pumps have excellent pressure right out of the box, do you mind if I ask why you want to increase the pressure? As mentioned above, I'd be more interested with oil volume than pressure

I got more pressure and more flow by modifying the pickup tube seal slightly.
