Default Oil pump chang in a 4x4

I'm tired of reading through the search pages and not finding what I'm looking for so here goes. I am planning to do a cam swap one of these days, since the cam is just hangin out in my kitchen right now.

Anyway my question is, How hard is it to replace the oil pump in a 4x4? My truck has a little over 100k miles on it now and my oil pressure is fine but I would like to upgrade to an LS2 timing chain. I figured I might upgrade the oil pump while I'm in there, but I am concerned that dealing with the timing chain and oil pump will increase the difficulty of the swap greatly. Any info you have or can direct me to is appreciated.

Thanks I already knew about that write up. My question is more about the fact that my truck is a 4x4, so there really isn't much of any room to drop the oil pan with the front diff being in the way. So how hard is it to deal with the pump in a 4x4?

I don't think I really need a new pump I see a little over 35 psi full temp at idle and around 45-50 psi driving. I do really want to upgrade the timing chain though so I will have to deal with the pump for that. If it's more of a pita than it's worth I will just leave it alone.

You don't have to remove the pan to get the clearance you need to pull the pump off. In the f-bodies you can't drop it more than about 1/4" inch in the front without dropping the front suspension, and that's enough to get the job done. There should be enough wiggle room above your front diff to drop the pan enough in the front to get to the pickup tube bolt. That's the only difficult part to get to.
