Default Oil pump

Im building my 6.0 in the next week or so, and Im wondering about the oil pump when I put it back together. Will this pump get me benefit over the stock one or is it not worth it?

BTW sorry if I was not supposed to put an ebay link in here, I can remove it if I need to.

I wouldn't, why would you want to? A stock pump will put you well over 70PSI at WOT. A high vol pump will just put more load on the crank and being a parasite on HP. The stocker is just fine. Leave well enough alone

My oil pump in my Camaro went out about 2 years ago so I opted to replace it with a Texas Speed ported LS6 pump. I was happy with the switch as the oil pressure ran higher at slower engine speeds. I'm of the opinion that if you can get more oil flowing you can better protect your investment and that would outweigh the very minor loss of horsepower you might lose as hirdlej stated (I suppose this could happen). In my case it was good insurance and peace of mind for me. I just don't know if I would have switched out the pump if I didn't need to because of the cost.

That is the pump you want dude! Just leave the regular psi spring in. That is the pump I am going to use on my 6.0.

I would not do a high volume pump. The stock or stock replacement pumps are fine. I'm using a Melling stock replacement pump. I have been warned about high volume pumps sucking the pan dry, although I have never heard of this actually happening.
