Default off set grinding the crankshaft

I was thinking about off setting the crank in my 5.3 by.008. That would make it around a 329/330ish I think. I have seen this in roundy round motors in a 350ci motor and it helped. I am still throwing in a 5.7 in a couple of months. While I run the 5.7 I am going to throw around some ideas and try to make more out of this 5.3 so maybe I can help you guys and learn a bit myself.

not sure if you have yet or not, but if you search the internal section for that there are quite a few topics on it. LS1 guys are looking into this more and more.

Texas Speed and Performance is testing a kit they will start selling soon as well. I think it is made to be something like a 39x in a 6.0L block. They are also using 1.8 rod journals for this one.
