Default O2 sensors

I was going to put my headers on my truck this morning, but I ran into a problem. The rear o2 sensors will not come out of my stock exhaust y-pipe. I bought a older y to put my headers on with so I will not have to cut my stock y.How do you get the sensors out. They only come out about a thread and then stop will not go anymore. What do I need to do.

Sounds like something screwy with the threads. I have removed plenty without that problem. But on a different note. What are you using for tuning? I would just turn COT off and plug them on the y-pipe you are using.
