Have you checked for exhaust leak or vacuum leak?

You can smoke test an exhaust system, but a preliminary test is to look for carbon tracks near any joint or on the heads where the manifolds mount. Don't be too concerned with anything more than about a ffoot downstream of the O2 sensors.

While the exhaust is cold Duck tape a shop vac to the tail pipe.

Then turn the shop vac on so it blows air into the exhaust pipe. Not sucks but blows.

Then just spray soap and water anywhere you think an exhaust leak might be. If it's leaking it will form bubbles.
