Default No start when parked on hill.

I have been experiencing a no start condition when parked on a hill either nose up or nose down when tank is either low or half full. As soon as I get on flat ground it will start. Any experts out there know what is going on? Is there a pick up in the tank that when it has no fuel level available, it does not allow the truck to start.

Thanks

first i would turn the key to the on position to see if the fuel pump is coming on.if not that could be the prob but then again the truck prolly wouldn't start at all.my older silvy did the same thing.just dont park on a hill when you are low on fuel.it is just the nature of the beast.someone elese should chime in

sounds like the "sock" fell off the pickup or the pickup tube itself broke somehow.
