Default nitrous and procharger

I am thinking about shooting a 75 shot of direct port. I have arp head bolts and cometic gaskets. I will be running as close to 15 pounds of boost as posible. I am currently trying to fix my belt slip issues. I have MSD 50lb injectors, I assume I would have to go with a wet shot. I have never used nos before and I am wondering if that is to much. I know Parish8 used that amount with his stock 6.0 on his wipple. Just looking for opinions. Also would my rearend hold. I have an eaton posi with 3.42 gears. Thanks

parish wasn't running 15psi with his whipple though.....a 75 shot might be a bit much for the rod and main bolts to deal with

I have eagle h beam rods with arp bolts. I also have diamond pistons running 9.1 compression.

it might just live then......but 75hp is a hell of a shock to something already running seriously high cylinder pressures....

you have any numbers with your current setup? what size pully do u plan that will get you to 15lbs with a p1 on a 6.0 ive been trying to figure out what size pully to get me to 10-11psi on mine... cuz im only making about 6lbs with my 4.00, you should maybe try a reichard pully with a gator back belt and some dressing....the f body guys have been trying to get a cog setup going as well.......looks intresting

There was a guy on here a while back running a 5.3 at 11psi with a 150 shot and race gas. I think it held up for him. I ran high 11's I think.

I think a 75 wet would be alright. Do you have a wideband? You'll want to watch AFR close.

What pulley are you running? How much boost are you seeing. What are you doing to fix the belt slip?

When I had the 4.00 pulley on there I would sometimes see 9lb's but that is because I am running up to 6500 rpm. I just put a 3.2 pulley on but I need to get a new belt and I am getting the Katech tensioner to hopefully reduce the slip. I need to step up to the ultra grip pulley and a 8rib setup. I hit 10lb's with my new pulley but it was slipping bad because I was still using the original belt. I havn't had it dynoed yet but I plan on getting it dyno tuned when I go home on leave. I have ls1-edit and efi-live, but I am not to proficient with it yet. I am wanting to break the 600rwhp mark. When I get it tuned and with the nos I should be pritty close, I hope.

Could you give me some more info on the Katech tensioner?

sure its the same one Thunder racing sells for the f-bodies. I am pritty sure it is a fixed tensioner, its not spring loaded, you just tighten down the bolt. Some people like it some people don't, I figured I would give it a try, its a cheap way from paying for a complete custom cog setup. I just need something to hold together for the few times that I will be going down the track.
