I'ld love to get a good wet kit for about 300..... I'll have to keep an eye open. I'ld just be scared I'ld end up getting one with something crazy like a solenoid stuck open.

Good luck with it!

Spray away!

i have had a complete wet kit in the clasifies for $325shiped for a month or more. even came with a few extras. i just sold it on thursday. if you get an NX kit used you can get the noids rebuilt for free. it is one of their features and i told the guy i sold my kit to that he should get them rebuilt.

If you do buy a solenoid used either get a solenoid rebuild kit or send it off to whatever brand noid it is and have them check it out! It shouldnt be much at all on either option. I would do that for sure if you buy a used kit unless you know who you got it from and know for fact that they are working! I would do a wet kit for sure! Check on eBay there are som crazy deals on kits there!

Didn't you have a fuel solenoid fail and eat up a motor? This is something that you don't need to worry about on a dry shot. For anything under 125shot, I think I prefer a dry shot. Of course my **** has only run 13.4x compared to Parish and his 10.9!

Before you even hook up anything you can hold the hot wire of the solenoid directly to your battery and just ground out the ground wire on anything close. If you hear the solenoid click its working!

i did but i was also spraying in 10deg weather. i have had a lot of strange thing happen when the fuel was super cold and now believe they are not desigend to work when that cold.

you would have to see the wideband to see what i am talking about with the fueling. when i sprayed dry the fueling was everywhere. wet it is rock solid.

bad fuel noids are rare. i try funny fuels and race in the winter and am always trying new stuff.

LOL! I understand that but that will only tell you that it worked when you put it in and whats stopping it from not working right after that! I know a guy with a 03 SS and he bought a used kit and checked to see if all the noids were clicking and soon after he was spraying and the n20 noid stuck open and we all know what happened next! I know if it was me and I didnt buy a brand new kit I would spend a little extra money on a rebuild kit or to have TNT,NX or whoever to check it out! For piece of mind at least!
