will the ngk tr5 work in my 1996 5.7 vortec ? gunna be installing some headers this weeked and was gunna do the plugs at the same time . Are they the same heat range as my stock plugs i know they arethe same in the new ls engines just not sure on the older vortecs.

 

yes they will work fine.... I'd gap them at .45
