Default Next mod? New TB?

Well my its time for my next mod. Been like 2 weeks since anything done to the truck and I cant have none of that

I have a full exhuast with cut outs and a FIPK intake. I would think a nice bigger sized throttle body would really help these mods. Can I get mine bored bigger? Or would getting it polished help. What is the size of a 5.3l stock tb? Is their like a ls1 stock one that will bolt on or litlte mods to make fit, will work, and can be found cheap. I know I could go and buy the BBK one but thats 300. Im really looking for something stock or something from a ls1 or vette somethign that I can find on the car site.

Another option is E-fans or pulleys.

The TB are the same for the camaros and corvette, the size is 75 mm. The best thing you can do is polish the TB yourself, don't buy one I think its a waste of money and you can get a polishing kit for $10. Seems like the next best mod around here would be some e-fans.

Personally, I'd probably look to the throttle body as my last mod. Right now I'd be thinking about a cam swap, and some long tube headers. I know the items I mentioned are more pricey than porting a tb, but they'll net you more gains

the e-fans are a good idea too

I vote for spending money on converter first, then efans next.

Just FYI, I'll be finishing up the ported truck Drive By Wire (DBW) throttle body this weekend and posting up pics. I have a post started in this forum if you want to see what's been done up to this point...

Here it is... Throttle Body porting thread.

I already have LT's. Full exhuast was stated above.

Cam will wait till I start building my motor(6.0l). I want to install a converter but I cant do it my self and no one around here knows how.

Hey RUBI..... I just Port and Polish. I bought one of the 80 mm BBK TB with all of my mods beofre the supercharger and I think it slowed me down a lil, so I put the stocker back on and putted the BBK back on when the charger was installed. P&P it is very cheap and effective. Than save up for a Fuddle Converter, and shift kit. Don't you need to be on HL site... haha J/K
