Default next mod

well i have been debating on what i want to do to my truck next. The list of things to do total are, Cam, Stall, Longtubes, nitrous. They all cost around the same which one should i do next?

If i did a cam would i be hurting until i got headers and convertor?
Or would it run good with out, i was lookin in the 224 area. i drive 2 miles a day to work , so i dont mind a little drivabilty problem. I just cant decide what i should go with.

I have a cam with stock manifolds and converter. If I could have done it over again this is the order I'd do my mods:

Exhaust
Cam
Tune
Converter
Gears/trutrac
Headers
Efans
Nitrous.

Somewhere in there I'd throw in a built 4l60e knowing that it would blow during all that.

Thats about the order i was thinkin, i am just eager to get some big performance improvments. Do you think besides the different sound would a set of pacesetters, feel any differnt? i have hp tuner so the tune is when ever.
Right now i have a catback, I just didnt know if i should headers or cam?
How long did you cam installl take?

I'd go a little different:

LT's or stall (they'd be first and second in either order)
cam
nitrous

Reason being to get the full advantage of a cam you'll need a stall and LT's.
Getting the full potential of a nitrous shot depends on having a cam designed for it.
So, as for a stall or LT's, they're simply a great foundation for the goals you seem to have.

From what I've seen, a cam should be one of the last mods that's done.

In my opinion, the motor needs to breathe better/as much as it can first, so I'd put the headers on next.

Yea would agree headers then cam. Its hard to spend 500 bucks and not a lot of noticeable difference. I know with lts i would be down in the 14s. Right now iam at 15.2 90 mph.

I think ill just save and get both at the same time.

IMO......I'd do the Long Tube headers first! Great gain in power and torque...and then get you a Tune. Then you can build off of those mods.
