Hey Guys I just bought a 04 charcoal metallic extended cab Z71. It has the 5.3, 373 gears and locking differential. Just got rid of my 00 Ws6 with 430 rwhp so I'm kinda familiar with the engines. Anyway, I'm looking to get some low end power. I have the true flow intake setup and that's it. Looking for some good cheap exhaust or maybe a cutout. I just want to gain on some low end power. My truck barely spins the tires now if at all. Any suggiestions would be great. I do plan on getting LS1 edit. There is a good tuner around here that will do it for about $400.

Well apply your knowledge here to the truck...same rules apply.
LTs
Stall
Cam
Etc.
Trucks are severly detuned stock so less than impressive performance is what to get used to until you get it tuned...like I did.

Ditto on what the Hitman said.
Only thing you are gonna have a hard time doing is getting more low end out of the trruck. Most people just get a stall and add a decent cam with headers and it works great. Add gears if you want better low end response but expect gas milage to take a huge dump. LOL
With the 3000 stall and even the "huge" cam I have daily driving is a snap. I actually think I have better part throttle response now than I did stock. Boosting the timing in the low end helps that out alot. Talk to Allen @ Nelson Performance for tuning if you dont already have a tuner.

I really don't want to do headers right now, and don't want a cam and stall. I want to be able to take the truck to the dealer and get it fixed for free if something goes wrong. Plus once you start doing those things, you just keep adding more and more and more. Will any exhaust help my low end out any. Also, does an asp pulley help?

dont mess with the asp pulley, get a nelson tune, and get just a muffler replacement like magnaflow or corsa or something along that nature. hsould help alot. especially the tune. also the dealer wont know the difference from the factory tune more then likely.
