Default New Truck

Im looking for a used 99+ 5.3 truck. I originally wanted a single cab - after riding in a ex cab with my cousin i liked that, and it was 4wd. originally i wanted 2wd. I cant decide on what i need/want now. Help me figure it out, pros/cons etc. I know everyone on here can put in on this one. With a 4wd i would probably put a rancho lift with a 2wd i would probably drop the back 2 or do a 2/3 drop. I want to make it fast, thinking tnt wet kit or ati/whipple charger, on either one. What would you get and why. I wont drop it to the ground (roads are rough) and i wont put 35s+ on it if its a 4wd. Thanks for any advice.
The reason why i'm thinking 4wd is chicks seem to like a big truck, and nearly all of my friends have a lifted truck. 2wd for going fast (cant get a z28 since insurance is nearly 10k a year).
whats the binifit of ex cab (what year is the 4door introduced?)
whats the benifit of single cab.

Sorry its long, i just need my mind made up so i can look for something.

I like speed, so I'm for a 2wd ext cab.

Look at mine and that explains what I think you should do.

I know the 3dr was 1999 and was an option for 2000. I think it became standard in 2001 but not for sure. I don't know what chicks dig anymore, been married to long. Why the HELL is insurance for you nearly 10k for a Z28 ? <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">
