Default New Track Times For VHO

I made it back to HRP last night and made a few runs in good weather and track conditions (imho). Temperature was in the 60s and humidity was around 50%, which is uncommon for us this time of year. I put on the 16s and pulled everything I could off the truck and had less than 1/4 tank of fuel. The tailgate, spare, back seat, jack, tire tool, floor mats, etc... were all gone. When I finished piling it up, it looked the Beverly Hillbillies had moved in. The truck weighed 4700 with me in it (I weigh 200 lbs or so). Here are the times:

R/T = .211 secs
60' = 2.066 secs
1/8 = 8.958 secs @ 79.02 mph
1/4 = 13.985 @ 97.75 mph

This was with 26 psi of air in the M/T drag radials. I ran 2 tenths slower with 20 psi in them. Go figure. I tested this a couple of time, before I believed what I was seeing. I must be getting good traction at 26 psi. Next time I may go to 28 psi and see what happens.

MTI tune, AirAid Intake tube, K&N conical filter with eBay heat shield, 160 T-stat, Flo-Pro HD muffler. I ran on 16" wheels with 26" tall M/T Drag radials on rear and 26" tall Eagle LS for fronts.

Headers in a couple of months and then a small stall (2400 or so) and shift kit after the warranty expires next year. After that I would like to add a moderate cam. I want to run 13s on my 20s, but that may be a couple of years away.

you should be getting close to 13s on the 20s with the LT headers and that stall and shift kit. i would think low low 14s if not high 13s. with a bigger cam, you would be for sure.
