To answer some of the questions:

1) This was on the 4.8 tune. We added the HO tables from a stock LS1 (which is like 5* more overall) and the truck didn't pick up much at all. For all intents and purposes, this was on the 4.8 tune.

2) I was on the 20s, and I also have the stock 3.42 open rear.

3) I plan on spraying the motor later this year, but my goal is to get into the 12s N/A. I think that gears/converter/tires/headers might get me really close. If I could pull some 1.8-1.9 short times, I could almost get there with the truck as it sits. I think.

Kick ***!

100 mph in the 1/4, N/A without tuning. That had to feel good!

Not bad at all...it idled better with the stock LS1 HO timing tables, though.

Did you use your truck heads or the LS1 heads? What type of tuning did you use? Sounds like a mod I might have to look into.

I used the stock LS1 heads, and for now it's still on the 4.8 tune. When I get the tranny back in working order, I plan on getting some tuning done at Norris Motorsports in Orlando.
