new motor going into the truck
went to swap a tsp cam into my 4.8 and the cam bearings was shot so i decided tp just go ahead and do a motor swap. i looked all around for a lq9/4 and couldnt find anything so i found a forged ls1 long block that i purchased.
5.7 ls1 forged pistons/rods stock crank 11:1 compression 239/242 cam afr 230 heads going through a t56 ls7 clutch with yukon locker with 4.10 gears anyone guys what numbers i would put down on a dyno and 1/4 et? |

Over on LS1Tech, a guy has a 2002 Camaro LS1/M6 with the MS4 Cam (239/242 .649/.600 111.5 LSA), Stage 1 Ported 243 heads, 1-7/8" longtube headers, LS6 intake, 4.10 gears and made 420 Hp/370 Tq at the wheels.
I would guess you should run mid 11's. |
