Default New mods.

Ditched my K&N 77 series CAI for a GMPP CAI.

Also got tired of the 40's flowmasters and they were killing bottom end and MPG so i replaced them with a DI/DO Flowmonster muffler.

I would have stayed with the plastic tube.

Nope. Had a real bad hesitation off the line with it. Had a home made intake, K&N 77 intake and now this one and hands down my truck runs better with it.

Think what he means is that a metal tube does not have good heat resistance compared to plastic. I like plastic over metal myself but the GMPP is a great looking intake!

Yep, with a metal tube my truck would heat soak more and take longer to cool down.
