Default New headers and cam

Well I just got done ordering the FMS F-9 cam and the pacesetter headers. I hope the F9 cam will be driveable. Does anyone else have a cam with similar specs that could give me some info? The specs are 232/236 585/600 114. I also have 918 springs, do you think they will hold up to the abuse? I just want my truck to rumble.

I would upgrade to a good dual spring, especially since they are going to have to fight the boost to close as well as handling the duration/lift of the cam.

Yeah I was thinking that I might have to upgrade to the 921's but wasnt sure.
I wonder if the 921's use the same retainers as the 918's and the seat height is the same.

Most dual springs come with hardened seats and retainers but you would reuse the stock keepers. The PRC duals and Patroit Golds are poplular as well as the ones already mentioned.

dry kill... FMS = Futral MotorSports. They are a sponsor on the sister site(ls1tech). The produce some very good cams. I have one in my truck as well(F10).

Thats probly good advice bigkid, I am going to go ahead and order the Patriot springs. I don't want to get it together and then have to tear it apart again. So how does that F10 idle and run?
