Default New guys pleads Ignorance?

Hey guys im new...I spent a few months at FSC and then found this site so I know a little about the game. Im wanting to know what I need to do next and what brands.

I have a 2000 chevy rcsb with 5.3l. I have 120k miles so I really dont want to put a blower on it.
I have true duals.
intake
wait4me tune
4.10's with posi track

Bout it for now. Bout to buy headers, cam, and torque converter hopefully. Im clueless on all 3. I know I want Long tube headers, a cam that will go good with a 100-150hp shot of Nitrous, and for the torque converter I think I found a good 3200 in the for sale section on down the page for 450 or so.

Lemme know if im goin about it wrong. I would really love to thro a lq9 in their....Almost bought one today but another guy beat me to it and doubled my price before I knew anythign about it. Lemme know what I shoudl look for and what to keep my eyes out for please.

Preciate it in advanced. Remember be nice to the new guy please.

GIve me some specs to ask for on the cam or should I just call and tell them what I want?

I want the best street/strip(with spray) application I can get. I to be able to notice it while drivin in town and I want a good response. I really dont want to have to change the springs and everything but I can.....Just didnt want to spend that extra money on the springs and rods in all.

If you have the cash ~$1000, just drop a 6L in there. Or spend another $1000 and do a cam and stall too. When I blew my 5.3, I got a LQ4 for $1000, put a Cam motion 223/226 ARP rod bolts, and FMS push rods, and a TCI 3000 stall. It was enouth to push my RCSB Z71 to a 13.7.

alright well Im gonna go with a lunatti cam. I called them today and they said the 55001 cam would do me good.
Intake=471
exhaust=507
duration=212/216

Should I go another step bigger? I was wanting atleast a 220+ duration because I was told that would be ok on a daily driver, would cam (noise) really good, and would add close to 60hp or so.

looks like they got you on a nitrous cam?

Id go for an NA cam and they just spray on that. you aren't spraying enough to justify a nitrous cam imo.
