As far as parts, choose your poison.
Look for a quality Cold air Intake, there's a few to choose from. Me, i like Volant intakes, they're clean and functional. Pacesetter long tube headers are best for the $$. Most of the choices on these things including exhaust are based more on personal taste than any performance differences.
I bet an ex. cab. can run 12's under $2,500 with a 100-125 shot.

no no, no turbo kit yet. Already ordered pacesetter long tubes. I plan to order the sts turbo kit...unless there is better kits out there for the money?

check out the livernois kit or cmotorsports they are front mount instead of rear mount ... by the way you will need a serious tune if you go turbo

I seriously doubt that. That big of a shot of nitrous would take off about .8 seconds give or take. That means you'd have to run a 13.8 or so without the spray.
I larger cam, stall, good dyno tune, headers and gears will probably get you to a 13.8(if your lucky) but thats about:
cam-600
stall-500
tune-450
headers and exhaust-400(at least)
gears-500
plus the nitrous which is at least $500
-----------------
Roughly $3 grand JUST FOR PARTS

that is only for parts of course and the install for the cam and stall can run you up close to a grand for both and a another couple hundred for the gears.

If you did it all yourself with NO room for error you might be able to but that would be pretty damn hard

Personally I like the livernois kit better than the STS, but the STS kit can make some serious power too.
