Default new guy here

whats up guys im new to this site, a friend referred me here to find out a few things about my truck and maybe give advice to yall. I bought my truck about 2 months ago and its a regency edition "nuthin special" and i already has gears, lsd, exhaust, and electric fans. i havent been to the track with it yet but i g-teched it the other night and ran a 15.6 @ 87 i think it was. but anyways i was jus wanting to get to know u guys and see what we can mod on this ride.

well im about to get a nelson tuner and do a TB bypass and get a 160* stat and build a CAI, and i want to know what the heck is a vette servo and where to get it if it helps

Do you have an auto or a 5-speed? if you got a 5-speed, you won't have to worry about a lot of that stuff you see on here like the servos, shift kits, stalls, TC and all that other mess

vette servo is a shift enhancer that helps firm up the 1-2 shift. It does help the tranny life but you probably want to start out with a shift kit first. When you put a shift kit in your tranny...you are helping it last longer. This only works for an automatic. Plus another good upgrade for an automatic is a stall. Most people use the torque converter out of the trailblazer but other options are TCI, Edge, etc.

When you get your nelson tune, make sure that torque management is deleted. You'll be glad you did.

yea i got an auto so i need all this stuff, and what size hose is going to the TB so i can do the bypass

You shouldn't need any more hose. I had enough to use what was already there.

Well the mods you just listed would be a great start. You also could add a mild stall like a Yank 2600 and a Trans-Go shift Kit and it will really bring that truck to life.
