That is exactly what I am in the works of getting. GMC in Pearsall, TX found me two of them in San Antonio. A silver birch and a red one. The only 2 he found without onstar and xm radio. This also means no center console and no leather. Does yours have the electronic traction control?

You have all the ideas on how to make it run,If i were you I would look real close at what Bigtex has done with his 12.3 SS,follow closley to his recipe,personally I would recommend not changing the 3.73s,leave them.

Welcome and as said before do lots of research before droppin all the cash. I'm learning more and more each day before I drop the $ to make this tank quicker.

The VHO trucks have the higher compression LQ9 if I'm not mistaken, rather than the LQ4.
