New Exhaust
#11
my 5.3 loves my true dual 3 inch exhaust. its pacesetter longtubes with 3 inch true duals , 3 inch x pipe, 3 inch cutouts, 3 inch bullets, then i have them turned down like a old camaro. i like it, top end is a whole lot better, you do lose a little on the low end, no big deal with a converter . good luck, here is a clip, may have to put it to windows media player

NOS BABY!!!!!
NOS is a brand...Call it nitrous or n20 or people will make fun of you...For what its worth I had true dual on my last truck...ECSB 5.3 pacesetter lt's yadda yadda...couldn't tell that it hurt it anywhere. It was just 2.5" though. On my new truck i just did mac midlengths with a custom mandrel bent y-pipe that dirt_track_racer_81 put together for me with consists of mandrel bend 2.5" into a flowmaster y(2.5" in 3" out), 3" cutout and then a 3" hooker aerochamber...And it does pull like a **** on the big end...

I have the same setup that you are asking about. LT's nocats, X-pipe, two one-chanmber flows w/ 2.25 tails. You will need a little more back pressure to keep your low end quality. I am plannign to put a pair of small hi-flow cats and will hope to get a little more. i think that i opened her up too much.
