can't really give an exucated guess without all the info on your truck... however, I've run a 220 cam and a 2800 stall and had great results. 3000 converter performed better.

My stock 4L60E lasted 400 miles behind my 6.0 with a TR224 and a 3500 stall. Now is fully built with a yank TT2600, wish I would've gone bigger on the stall, but it's on 33's with 3.73's, and I tow.
