Whats up Brad? Weren't you at the GCFBA dyno day in Mobile a few weeks ago? I believe you were on the rollers when I showed up and left shortly thereafter. BTW.. welcome to the board. There are some pretty knowlegable guys here and is a lot more technical than FSC.

 

Yeah that was me. My g/f had to back in Pace around 230 or 3, so we had to leave early. I was over there looking at you truck for a little bit, you were sittin inside of it. Nice ride. A bunch of us went out to Emerald Coast last sunday, and I had a new best of 9.39, my converter is locking up, and my mph is WAY low...I had a nice 60'-2.03. What did your truck put down? I heard all motor was around 280hp/305tq or somethin like that?

We don't really have alot of guys with pre '99 trucks here since it's a "LS1" site <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> but, I'm sure if you need some help or have a question about your truck somebody will be able to help out. Well, I would get a 02, or 01, I love that body style, but I also like mine...and im in college(in only 18)...But give me a few years, and im either gonna have an LS1, or 99+ reg cab swb. I have a question too...I saw in Hot-Rod a while back the SS Silverado in a reg cab form, with a 6.0 and .500+" lift cam a 6spd, and it was black...And I heard the other day Chevrolet isnt gonna produce it, whats up with it???

You have pretty good hearing! On motor I put down 380/304 corrected. I was very discusted with my N2O numbers though. They were like 358/373 (I dont even care to rember them exactly <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> ) But I was oxidizing the ozone pretty good though. Over half of my shot was excaping through the filter. I am hoping to have that fixed before we go to Hattiesburg this sunday. So I am hoping for a new best time this weekend.

As for the reg cab SS... it was never slated for production, just speculation. Hopefully they haven't completely canned the idea though.

 

You mean 280/304 corrected right? lol...i put 226/315 corrected but my uncorrected was 244/325, I will tell kevin that you want to be in V2 of gulf coast muscle. That was me at the end of the video sayin OMG! to mikes burnout..that thing is pretty stout(I heard 8.0's at holt(1/8th))...you'll have a handfull, but should be good...let me know when and where yall are racin, i might have come and watch. Last time you went to the track and ran all motor, did u have less done? reason i ask is puttin 280 at the wheels i would think u would go a little faster than 14.4, but thats still a good time! lol
