I dunno if he's faster or not, but once I get back on my home track I bet I'll pull a low 12. Everyone was saying that the track in SA is consistantly .3 seconds slower.

I still need tuning, and have not added any boost yet either.

Great times man, especially with no added boost or tuning, with tuning and more boost low 12's will be in your future, if you can get traction

Also, a 4.8L with a TR224 running 12.6, does he have RADIX as well??

I was on slicks .. I think if I can drive it a little better, tuning and boost and I should get in the 11's.

Parush ... don't worry, I'm going back to Hallsville this weekend too. HOPEFULLY ... I will have a tune by then.

Parish .. I will work on the video later tonite and see if I can get it wrapped up. Thanks for hosting.

What was that 4.8L trapping at? The TR224 cam is a little large for the 4.8L isnt it?

Flyer, how hard is that set up being on your tranny? Is there any slippage at all?

He is number 12 on the fastest truck list. 12.60 @ 104 w/ a 1.71 60".

His sig says he has LS1 p&p heads, TR224 low lift cam, and is tuned by someone on the boards I would guess. He is also running a 3.25 pulley which should be 2 sizes smaller for him.

I'm still running on stock heads, smaller cam, need tuned bad, and 'stock' 3.4" pulley. I'm not going to run anymore boost until I can get some good rod bolts on there and replace the rod bearings. After that I will consider a new set of heads as well.

I'm kinda weary of getting under 11.5 cause after that I'm going to have to get it caged to run at the track.

Thank you ...

I need tuning BAD! I'm talking to Allen, the truck sponser about getting it worked on now. Hopefully by the end of next week it'll be even better.

I was wondering about that truck too. Do you have a true LS1 in there? What mods are in it?
