Come on fellas, is this guy for real with those fast times, I mean he needs a power adder to do all that doesn't he?
I've got everything he's got except for gears and torque converter and he's over a full second faster than me, where am I going wrong here?

Jeremy is right on par...13.5-13.8 should be the range for the mods he has listed. As a matter of fact ther are few of use right near the same times with similar mods.
If you have never had a converter you will have a difficult time undertanding just how a proper gear ratio and a correctly stalled converter will benefit you.

That's all I need to know chief.
What size converter with 3.73?
What size converter with 4.10?
I'm gonna get that extra second in my truck, is that how his 1.8 60 ft time is soooooo much better than my 2.2 60 ft time with no tire spin?

I've always heard that 1 tenth in the short time is good for 2 tenths in the quarter, so if there's a 4 tenths difference in your short times, then there's at least 7 to 8 tenths of time on the big end.
I'm stuck in the 2.3-2.4 range...I can only dream of what the lil 4.8 could do if I could get a decent launch!

Sorry been gone for a day ,had things to do! As for as mods go,what you see is what you get, no poweradders here and diffenatly no moter work! Its all about the right combo.Oh yeah,I was at State Capitol Dragway not NPR.

The only thing changed on the truck since April is the oil and the miles.Have not touched it otherwise, been working on my other car and hunting.
