around 6,000 rpms Also i might add that im runnin the 6.0, cammed, with 10# of boost, and i dont have any kind of inline pump or anything to keep the pressure up at high rpms. So its very well possible i was runnin out of fuel and so i leaned out? The engine seems to run fine now and im not throwing any codes anymore. My stupid loggin program is slow so i have a hard time logging more than 3 things at a time. what do i need to look for? Would it be better if i just got a tune like nelson or pmcforless?

what do you have for a tune now? if your skeptical at all about having a fueling problem then i wouldn't have run it hard unless you where monitoring as stated before. i would definately do a compression/leakdown test just to make sure everything is ok.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

I forgot allll about that. Magan says that the stock pump will keep up until it hits about 5300-5500 on the 5.3's and that's with 7psi. You very well might have ran smooth out of fuel.

Looking at the o2's will tell you the fuel ratio, they should hang .900 or higher at WOT. There is not a PID that will tell you the fuel pressure.

what you might need is a boost-a-pump that I have for sale that will raise the voltage (and output) to your pump when under boost. 150.00 shipped
9250+ shipping new) and will support 2 pumps if you later add another. If you had a cracked/broken piston, you would KNOW it...I did 2 that way
