Default Nelson's tune

I've been reading up on the different tunes and decided to go with a custom tune instead of a hand held. I have a few questions though. I read on their site that theres a chance of having a pass key problem where the engine wont start, how common is this? Another thing that I havn't seen are too many prices. How much does a tune go from them for a 2000 silverado 5.3 w/ a 93 octane tune. Also I only have a volant intake and exhaust on the truck, will I really notice a difference worth the money? I plan on updating the truck later on but it will be way later, trying to save for a house now.

The passkey routine was common a while back, every once in a while someone will run into this, but it's not likely. I'll take care of it in the tune.
The price for a 2000 truck is $375, and don't forget, free updates!

Thanks for considering us as your tuner!

I'll try to keep this up one more time, if you'd notice, I'm a sponsor now!

Please do not post info contact or pricing info for non-sponsers. That is a violation of site rules.

There are seceral different sponsers that offer truck tuning that include, MTI, THunder Racing, Futral Motorsports, Nelson, and HPE to name a few. I would contact them for pricing and concerns.

The pass-key deal is nothing really. There's a simple procedure to get around it, and you're on your way.

The banners to the right are links to the sponsers in no perticular order.

hey, nice to see you online, I'm very interested to see how your truck turns out. The HD trucks with that 6.0L and 80E just plain haul ***!

doh, didn't mean to steal your thread,

I just installed my PCM for less tune on my truck with volant and exhaust.
There is a HUGE difference, not in power though.
The shift points and removal of TM has changed the acceleration so much its hard to tell how much power it added. Its just fast now!

HOpe that helps.
