Default Nelson Tune vs Stock Tune

I'm calling this a performance thread even though it was a race.

Anyway, my buddy has an '01 Chevy that is identical to mine except it is stock. He is thinking about getting one of Allen's tunes. So we lined them up tonight to see what the difference was. I pulled on him steadily from the begginning with the gap getting wider and wider as we got faster. We both agreed that I had 6 or 7 truck lengths by the time I hit 80 (not enough road to go any faster, dead end service road)

I just wanted to give a little real-world comparison for you guys to think and talk about.

Also, I have seen my mpg increase by 1 in heavy city driving and 2-3 in highway driving depending on my speed. My truck also seems to get better mileage at 80-85 than it does at 70. Go figure.

Thanks, Jay
