HAVE A 07 SILV. 1500 LTZ 6.0 MAX EXT. CAB 25K MILES AND WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR OPINION ON WHICH COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM I SHOULD GET AND WHY... I HAVE DID A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THESE...VOLANT, K&N, S&B AND AEM. AND WOULD LIKE SOME REAL CHEVY ADVICE SO WHICH DO YOU THINK IS BEST? I'M ALSO GOING WITH THE MAGNAFLOW MUFFLERS AND I'M UNDESIDED ABOUT THE CHIP, BULLYDOG, SUPERCHIP, DIABLO SPORT, OR HYPERTEC? SOOOO MANY CHOICES BUT I WANT THE BEST. THANKS INADVANCE FOR YOUR RESPONSES...

You havent done much research if you want a "chip". The absolute best cold air intake out there is the prettiest yet cheapest to your liking. They all pretty much do the same. +/-5 hp to which you wont even feel in a heavy truck.

as far as cold air intake get the what ever you think looks coolest. i have a spectra and its cheap looks decent and works for me.

as far as a chip or programmer dont get one. look to the right and you will see a couple tuning companies (nelson, wheatley, blackbear) contact them and they can send you a mail order tune that is going to net you way better performance than any chip could ever do. and the prices are hard to beat.

As far as chips, I really like doritos with Hiland French Onion Dip. Delicious!

Don't get a hand held tuner for your truck. Get a custom mail order tune from one of the sponsors or take it to your local dyno tuner and have it tuned.

Cool

as for intake go on ebay and type in silverado intake , they sell for 60 bucks and buy a k&n cone for 40 bucks ! cant beat that with a baseball bat!
as for chips take the ADVICE the gentlemen have given you theres nothing better then a dyno tune but if you can get that then get a mail order tune from any 1 of the sponsors ! i choose blackbear performance and never looked back bat i heard great thing about wheatly, and nelson, all three of tham i belive will get you the best bang for your buck! due it and forget about hand helds!

Go with HPtuners for programming your truck! I have AEM CAI its a dry system. BUT, Im looking at the Volant with the scoop but i havent seen any dyno numbers out there with both set ups.
