just ordered ls1 edit for myself & my father. I am concerned with the tuning on my fathers truck. Ed Wright in oklahoma has locked in the custom tuning we had done for his truck. the problem is that i would have to reflash his pcm here at the dealership to factory specs & custom write a new one. I have never used edit & have no idea where to start with his truck. he has a 03 silverado ss with procharger p1sc 10.0 lbs of boost, comp custom ground cam ls1 xr265-14 .522/.529 212/218 with 114 lobe seperation, true 3 inch dual exhast, jba headers, tci 2500 stall. if anyone out there can help please let me know. i am absolutely stuck.

 

try and do a read on his pcm before you do anything else, the lock may only apply to writeing and not reading.

 

Brad here at B&M racing told me it was locked, he said ed would not unlock it.
I have other customers here at the dealership we have had his tuning on & it is locked i just need some type of base parameters for timing retard & fuel trim values.

 

E-Mail Ken at carputing, he'll either send you a whole new file to flash over it, or have you do a read and send it to him and he'll unlock it. The same thing happened to me.
