Be sure you match the segment 1 id's before flashing it into your PCM, otherwise it might not be so pretty.

my plan is to ditch the electronics. my email is bigguy6f3@hotmail.com. also if you can, send it to bigguy75inches@icqmail.com. if the file is less than a meg, i know the icqmail one will handle it. im not sure how much the hotmail one can handle. thanks for your help so far guys! I got my motor in today from delevery! so im starting the swap tonight!

I assume you are going to just view the 6.0 settings, them alter your stock file to match, correct? You won't be able to load a file from a differnt style truck to your pcm.

I've got my injectors set for 5.12 across the board.

Unless the segment1 id is the same.

I need one for a 2003 6.0 with 4L80e since 'SOMEONE' hasn't sent me one yet ...

segment 1 ID won't be the same on a different model truck. You won't find a 1/2 ton with the same segment ID as a 3/4 ton truck.

Flyer - am I the 'someone'? If so, I didn't know I was supposed to send you anything. Sorry. Here is an 03 6L 2wd 4L80 LS1 file I pulled out of an extra PCM I had: http://z71.net/036L4L80.LS1

Actually ... no, you weren't the 'someone' I was talking about. That someone knows though. I've kinda been waitin on it for a couple weeks.

I was told that if you can find a file with the same segment 1 ID, it will work. This is what Allen Nelson and John @ Speartech told me. I was led to believe that the segment 1 ID might be the same in different models, but I was under the same assumption as you before talking to them.

Hmmm. I'm not sure, but hey, that would be great if it is.
