Default Need some insight..

just thought about it.. would say an LS1 manifold like off a 6.0 corvette or truck fit on my 4.8 and give me any better air flow? and I was reading some guys sig a day ago or somethin and it said somethin like "de-combed MAF"... any real advantage from taking that off? haha just random thoughts of the night.

the truck intake flows better than the LS1. the 6.0 isn't an LS1 either, it's an LS2. And all the truck intakes are the same right? other than the SSR intake.

lol yea. just keep the truck intake. you might look into nitrous. I think it's HSW that has their kits for sale for like 370. damn good deal for 100-150hp at the push of a button. I'm tempted, but I gotta save for xmas.

for what it's worth, I wouldn't get a Zex kit. I've heard many people had minor issues with it vs. some of the sponsor's kits. the HSW plate kit is sick and I wish I had the dough for it right now.
