Default Need some help....Thanks???

What size pipe is the factory Y?? I wanted to cut my cats off today, but the replacement I got was 2 1/2" and it looks too big. I don't want to buy an extra roll of wire for the MIG, so I want to get the right size. Thanks for the help.

my slp cats went right in, the pipe is a metric size just a hair bigger than 2.5.. where as the slp cats were a slip fit 2.5.......... meaning the i.D. of the slps, was the same size, as the od of a 2.5" pipe. the stock y pipe, butted right up to the 2.5" ID on the cat. all you have to do is weld it up real nice like. it worked out real well for me, no filling, no BS.
