Default Need some help measuring a few things

hey guys i was wondering if i could have some help measureing a few things
My motor is currently out of the truck so it makes it hard for me to measure a few things .
If i could get somone to measure the distance between engine and the rad.
If anyone has Flexalite fans i would appricate it greatly
Looking for the distance between the old bolt the used to keep the stock fan on and the the flex fans.
I need to know as i'm thinking abiut mounting the new intercooler in the space between the rad and engine .

The new intercooler is gonna be a tad bit bigger than the last at 3"x7X21 ..well I'm using three of these cores welded together
just wanna see if it's going to fit nice or not??

thanks in advance

jim

you sure thats where you want to put it?????
say your engine is at opperating temp of 190 degrees, and the fan is sucking air thru the radiator, which is flowing that 190 degree water, heating that air up to probably over 100 degrees, then it finally gets to your intercooler, I would really look into a bottom mount/front mount configuration where the air is ambient temp, just a thought thou.

The intercooler is going to be a water to air unit soo not a big deal if it sees some heat ..
just want to make the pipe routing a little neater with less bends to make it flow nice
For the street not going to make a huge difference i would imagine
At the track it will be fine as i will be running ice in the tank
gonna try and mount it uder the lip but i doubt i'll have enough room there
as the intercooler is going to be a bit large

My other option is hacking the my three cores in half and making somthing like the intercooler i had from the Combination motorsport kit

I think mounting it behind the radiator is a bad idea....the intercooler on my truck, when i was measuring it, ran about 150 degrees max. You would be heating up the water instead of cooling it. Then you would have to call it an interheater....or something.
