Default Need some guidance on picking LT headers.

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra VortexMax. 4 Wheel drive, LQ9, Quad Cab. I have been in the market for some Long tubes as of late. I am open to any but honest feedback as to what I should look for. Price is really not a big to me. So far I have an AFE CAI, and the truck came with dual exhaust and looks like a Flowmaster muffler. TIA!

Tri-Y headers will give the most over-all torque and power gain while sacrificing peak HP. A set of normal Long tubes not gain as much all over torque and power but will have greater peak HP.

about the best bang for your buck headers are cal-speeds.

Consider a set of American Racing Headers. You can't beat the quality, or the power gains. PM me for special member pricing.

Since price is not a concern, I would go with ARH headers. I have them on my 2500 but had to fabricate the connecting pipes since they are routed differently than the 1500 with the 6.0L. They will bolt right in on your vehicle though.

i would honeslty not spend the money on the fancy big name brand headers when there are good brands like pacesetter, texas speed, and calspeed.

I have heard rumors about Pacesetter's not lasting but 3 years.. not sure if true or not. As far as Texas Speed or Calspeed, i am not sure either, are they direct bolt on? Will they fit my 4 wheel drive 06 GMC Sierra? Will the y-pipe need fixing to fit correctly? Sorry for a bunch of questions.. I just don't want to be stuck in the mud if they dont fit correctly.
